Thank you for shopping with Glass Island Designs. The following terms and conditions outline our shipping practices.


1. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

  • Custom items may require additional processing time.
  • During peak periods (holidays, sales) processing times may be extended.

If there is a significant delay, we will notify you via email.


2. Free Local Pickup

We offer free local pickup for customers in our area.

  • Pickup is available after your order has been processed (typically within 1–3 business days).
  • You will receive an email notification with pick up location when your order is ready.
  • Do not arrive before receiving confirmation.
  • Orders must be picked up within a 48 hours of your email notification.

3. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Estimated delivery times (after processing):

Canada: 2 - 8 business days

United States: 4 - 8 business days

Delivery time estimates are not guaranteed and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or customs processing.


4. Shipping Carriers

We ship orders through a shipping broker.

Carrier selection may vary depending on destination and shipping option available.


5. Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.


6. Customs, Duties, & Taxes

For orders shipping to the USA:

  • Customs duties, tariffs, and fees are included in your shipping cost.
  • Delays due to customs are outside of our control.

7. Incorrect Shipping Information

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate at checkout.

  • Occasionally addresses are flagged by our shipping broker, and due to this we may contact you for address clarification.
  • We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
  • Address corrections are not possible after an order has been shipped.

If a package is returned due to incorrect information, additional re-shipping fees will apply.


8. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

Once your order has been handed to the carrier:

  • We are not liable for lost, stolen, or delayed packages.
  • If your package tracking is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact your local carrier directly. Your carrier will be available in your tracking information.
  • After you have contacted your local carrier, we can attempt to assist where possible. We do not guarantee replacement or refund for stolen/missing packages.

9. Damaged Shipments

We take great care in packaging your order.

If your item arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Provide photos of the product and packaging.
  • We will work with you to resolve the issue.

10 Shipping Restrictions

  • We may not ship to certain locations or P.O. boxes depending on carrier limitations.
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders that cannot be fulfilled due to shipping restrictions.

11. Multiple Items / Split Shipments

Orders containing multiple items may be shipped separately. You will receive tracking details for each package shipped.

Christmas Shipping Deadlines

For the best chance of your order arriving in time for Christmas, please place your order by the following recommended deadlines. Please Note, once parcels leave our hands we have no further control over them and therefore cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.

Canada - Order by December 12

United States - Order by December 12

Local Pickup - Order by December 15
