Sand Etched by Hand
The glass itself is manufactured glassware. The hand-finished work happens when the cat is carefully sandblasted into the surface. Instead of adding ink or a printed image, the process changes the surface of the glass to create the design.
What does that mean when you pick it up? You can actually feel the difference between the smooth glass and the etched area. The image has a texture of its own, giving the glass a little more character in your hand.
